COUNSIL FAMILY LIMOUSINS
We are primarily a family operated beef cattle ranch, in the business of breeding beef cattle for show and herd prospects. CFLX Ranch, as we are known to most, successfully tied logic, emotion, and reputation to introduce the highest possible quailty of animals available today.
In 1999, we did away with conventional breeding methods and began Artificially Inseminating all our females; in order, to synchronize heat cycles and calving seasons to better be suited to the needs of our customers. In 2001, we began Embryo Tranfer of our champion show string. This has enabled us to produce fields full of winners in our bi -annual calving seasons.
Our goal is to produce GREAT MILKING MAMA's, to produce HEAVY WEANING WEIGHTS, and MEATY, SHOWY, NUMBER PRODUCING BULLS.
Counsil Family Limousins advocates health and reputation. Because of this, we are a state certified free herd in Tuberculosis, Brucellosis, and Johnes.
